Art enthusiasts can get up close to the fascinating, colorful works by Texas artist Royston Naves.
Named in his honor, the Nave Museum features six to eight exhibitions each year, and showcases a diverse array of works including portraiture’s and landscapes by the famed Texas artist himself, as well as ceramics, decorative arts, paintings and more.
For kids, the museum offers free children’s workshops through the Manhattan Art Program, and exciting events like the Chalk Walk.

The Museum of the Coastal Bend showcases the rich multi-cultural heritage of the mid-coastal region of Texas.
The Museum’s mission is to enhance the appreciation and enjoyment of the region’s heritage. The Museum’s purpose is to collect, preserve, exhibit, interpret, and educate using the history and heritage of the region.
For many years The Victoria College worked with board advisers and volunteers from Victoria and nearby communities to develop the Museum of the Coastal Bend. The Victoria College is an established higher educational institution that has served the Coastal Bend community since 1925.
Texas Zoo =>Lets Go
Since 1957, the Texas Zoo in Victoria has been delivering wild entertainment, and inviting guests to explore the animal kingdom.
Spot fascinating ocelots, foxes, badgers, red wolves, lions, tapirs and playful river otters, or join educational zoo tours, lectures and exciting camps for kids. Visitors will want to head to Fish and Turtle Moat, the Aviary or the Petting Zoo to get up close to their favorite reptiles and mammals.

Riverside Park, 562 acres of woodland, is bordered by four and one-half miles of the Guadalupe River. Two hundred picnic areas are provided with tables, Bar-B-Q pits and benches. Several of these areas are set aside for group outings.

Victoria is a nice place to live.
Everyone is friendly and get a long with each other no matter the ethnicity. If you like or love Mexican food, there are plenty of Mexican Restaurants here to enjoy.
If you like the ocean, the beach is only about 25 minutes away.
